Hope and Help Society improves communities’ abilities to adapt to risks and shocks in a setting of unpredictable climate change. Our approach emphasizes the promotion of diversified livelihoods, sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, and food Security.
This programme tackles three interconnected obstacles to sustainable development: food insecurity, climate change, and young unemployment. In response, Hope and Help Society expands people’s access to jobs, additional revenue streams, and climate-smart food production methods. This is done to lower unemployment, improve income and food security, and increase people’s ability to withstand shocks like climate change. People are empowered as a result, able to escape poverty, and make greater contributions to building communities that are safer and more resilient.
